Cindy and Marc Cutter: Why do you support Farm Table Foundation’s mission?

We have lived in this rural community for over 40 years. As residents, landowners, and business people, our interest in good food, nature, and the environment are all central to our enthusiasm and support for Farm Table Foundation. We truly appreciate the broad focus Farm Table brings to food, the community circle that it weaves together, and the broad reach their work has. Farm Table enhances much of what is integral to a thriving and regenerative local economy and culture: offering locally grown and prepared food at their restaurant; conducting research and offering education about growing, nurturing, foraging, preserving, and preparing food in ways that support soil health; and connecting food and food systems to environmental and human health. So many things associated with food serve as the foundation of a healthy community, its members, wealth, and resources.
