Wendell Berry writes, “How we eat determines to a considerable extent how the world is used.” Join Mike Schut from Farm Table for this weekly book group on Mike’s book Food and Faith: Justice, Joy, and Daily Bread which explores caring for the earth, spirituality, and, in light of today’s social and environmental concerns, asks the question, “How shall we then live?” Eight Thursdays, 6:30 – 8 PM, 2/13 – 4/2

Mike Schut serves as Farm Table’s Senior Program Director. He has nearly twenty years of experience serving faith-based communities including 11 years at Earth Ministry and four years for the national Episcopal Church as Economic and Environmental Affairs Officer. Mike has edited/partially authored three books, including Food and Faith: Justice, Joy, and Daily Bread. His others are the award-winning Simpler Living, Compassionate Life and Money and Faith: The Search for Enough. He received his M.S. in Environmental Studies from the University of Oregon and his B.S. in Biology from Wheaton College in Illinois.
