Grandma Skills: Lefse Making

Lefse Making with Terry Kelzer
November 4, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
, $30

Lefse is a delicate and soft Norwegian flatbread. The ingredients are simple, the technique is learned, and the recipe of potatoes, flour, butter, and cream is wonderful. Each piece is cooked on a large flat griddle using special tools, including a long wooden turning stick and a deeply grooved wooden rolling pin. Join Terry Kelzer, a local lefse legend, as she demonstrates the techniques and discusses the tools required. What’s even better, enjoy tasting the very best in traditional lefse dishes.
