Happy Hour in the Garden: Gardening as Preservation

WITH SUE KATT & SAL DAGGETT

August 12 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

$15

Calling all gardeners! This month’s theme could be renamed, “What do I do with all these tomatoes?” We will talk about ways that our gardens can continue to nourish us through the cold months and share our favorite recipes and preservation tips. We will also be exploring our favorite gardening memories, and new memories we are creating with our own families and gardening communities.

Whether you followed along with our weekly gardening tutorials last year, or have been this year, or not: join us for these monthly Happy Hours in our garden. You’ll have the opportunity to meet other backyard gardeners from the area and grow our gardening community. Farm Table and Hungry Turtle Farm gardening instructors, Sue and Sal, will take questions, facilitate discussion on our monthly theme, and you’ll all learn from each other while enjoying a drink in the gentle summer air.

We’ll gather at Farm Table’s patio and garden from 6:30 to 8 PM every second Thursday. Our last one is coming up in September.

The cost of $15 includes one drink (beer, wine, or kombucha); come early to grab a meal at Farm Table’s restaurant! Limit of 15 folks, so reserve your spot today.
