In the Kitchen with Amy Thielen: A Holiday Celebration!

[Event will be virtual, live via ZOOM.] Amy Thielen is a chef, TV cook, and two-time James Beard Award-winning author for her cookbook, The New Midwestern Table, and her memoir, Give a Girl a Knife. She will join us from her kitchen in rural Park Rapids, Minnesota, and prepare Tourtiére, a savory holiday pie and a favorite family tradition. Amy will also speak to how she decided to return, after working with some of New York’s most celebrated chefs, to cook, garden, and teach from her home in Minnesota and how she understands the importance of local food and supporting local farms. This special evening will include time to interact with Amy.

The event is a VIRTUAL fundraiser for Farm Table. Ticket prices vary: some are just for the Main Event; others include the Reception; and others include special meal options, including the option to cook along with Amy; add-ons include red wine and/or signed copies of Amy’s books.
