Class 3: Turkey Scouting and Shooting Range Field Trips
April 6, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
, Free
Farm Table is excited to cosponsor this Learn to Hunt for Food series. Hunting, done with respect and care, is certainly one part of building a local food culture. This course will teach the ethics and skills of hunting, in this case for wild turkey. The course involves in-class time as well as time in the field, at a shooting range, and on a turkey hunt; participants are paired with a mentor/experienced hunter.
“Learn to Hunt” is specifically for adults with no or limited experience.
This is a series of five classes, including time at a shooting range and time in the field hunting; participants are asked to attend all classes.
