“Lunch & Learn” is one of our more popular classes, partly because one of our best, Terry Kelzer, teaches them! Join us as Terry weaves local seasonal food and cooking techniques with tradition and stories to create the richest of fare… which you then get to eat! You’ll connect with your community, enjoy a delicious lunch, and leave with the day’s recipes.

Italian meatball soup, also known as Italian wedding soup, or ‘minestra maritata’, doesn’t really have much to do with weddings at all. It’s said to get its name from the “marriage” of the ingredients—meatballs, greens, and noodles. There is something very festive about the luncheon bread for this class – Panettone is a rich, deliciously puffed, fruit-filled Christmas bread that is baked in special round pans and is also great for gift giving.
