“Lunch & Learn” is one of our more popular classes, partly because one of our best, Terry Kelzer, teaches them! Join us as Terry weaves local seasonal food and cooking techniques with tradition and stories to create the richest of fare… which you then get to eat! You’ll connect with your community, enjoy a delicious lunch, and leave with the day’s recipes.

Watch and be amazed as Terry creates beautiful open-faced sandwiches, a smörgåstorta (a savory multi-layered sandwich cake) and flavorful Scandinavian rye breads. Though fika is usually sweet, it can also be savory, and this class will change things up with a look at a savory fika which is also a popular breakfast or lunch. Fika, of course, includes a hot cup of coffee (or tea) and quality time with those around us.
