We kicked off the 2017 canning season with an informational meet-up in July in which we discussed safety both in the kitchen and with the food processing, as well as, methods used to preserve. As we continue to meet monthly, we will bring together harvests from our gardens, or if our gardens are not growing, feel free to purchase items to include at the Farmer’s Market. Together, and with the help of guest experts, we will work to preserve our produce and learn. All ages and abilities are welcome to attend. Fees will go toward the purchase of Ball canning jars. We look forward to see you there!

Join James Beard Award-winning author and TV host AMY THIELEN from her kitchen in rural Park Rapids, Minnesota, and prepare Tourtiére, a savory holiday pie and a favorite family tradition.
