Simple CBD Medicine in the Kitchen:
CBD-curious? Join Margaret Jensen, herbalist at Lily Springs Farm (LSF), to learn more about the benefits and uses of CBD! CBD has pain, anxiety, and inflammation-reducing properties without any intoxicating effects. CBD is one of many compounds extracted from hemp, a plant humans have grown for medicinal purposes for thousands of years. At Lily Springs Farm in Osceola, hemp is grown in a regenerative system that supports human, soil, and pollinator health!
We will demonstrate making a topical muscle relief salve as well as a simple chocolate recipe using LSF’s DIY CBD-coconut oil blended with regeneratively grown hemp oil. OR, you can make it along with us. During the demonstration, Margaret will discuss the many beneficial properties of CBD, hemp’s role in the history of Wisconsin agriculture, and the future of this amazing crop. Participants will receive a free copy of LSF’s DIY CBD Recipes Booklet and a discount code (expires July 1) for the farm’s webstore to purchase the DIY CBD and other LSF products.
Note: to purchase the oil before the class in order to cook along, order your ticket and then place your order by May 26 so LSF has time to mail it to you.
Please note: If you find that price is a barrier to attending one of our classes or events, please reach out to email@example.com.
