Tourtiére: A Savory Holiday Pie with AMY THIELEN

[Event will be virtual, live via ZOOM.] Amy Thielen is a chef, TV cook, and two-time James Beard Award-winning author for her cookbook, The New Midwestern Table, and her memoir, Give a Girl a Knife. She will join us from her kitchen in rural Park Rapids, Minnesota, and prepare Tourtiére, a savory holiday pie and a favorite family tradition. Amy will also speak to how she decided to return, after working with some of New York’s most celebrated chefs, to cook, garden, and teach from her home in Minnesota and how she understands the importance of local food and supporting local farms. This special evening will include time to interact with Amy.
